Cozy stay with great food
We had a lovely 3-night stay in a double room. The breakfast was delicious, and I loved the varied menu. We ate in the bar and the food was hearty and well-priced. Staff were genuinely friendly, making us and our dog feel welcome! Just wish there was a bit more storage space in the room, but it was comfy overall.

I had a lovely two-night stay and really enjoyed my big, cozy room with all the little touches like a nice TV and tasty snacks. There’s a great garden area perfect for unwinding, and I loved the wood burning stove in the pub. The only downside was a bit of noise in the evenings, but it didn't dampen my experience at all. 😊

Great spot for a cozy getaway!
Was here for work, and what a surprise! The staff were super friendly and the room was spacious and comfy. I missed the food since I was too busy enjoying the pub vibes, but it looked good! Just a bit noisy at night because of the pub crowd, but nothing too crazy. Loved the atmosphere!

A Cozy Retreat for Couples
We spent five nights in a lovely double room. The shower was refreshing, and every morning greeted us with an extraordinary breakfast spread. The friendly staff made our stay memorable. Pro tip, take a short walk to enjoy the local village atmosphere! Parking was limited but easily manageable.

I had a lovely stay at the Royal Oak. The staff treated me like family from the moment I arrived. The room was cozy, with a comfortable bed and clean towels. Enjoyed the hot shower and the complimentary water bottles. Breakfast was a highlight. the full English was perfectly cooked, with generous portions. The atmosphere in the pub was inviting, and the outdoor seating area was a nice touch. the mattress in my room wasn't great. I could feel the springs poking through, making sleep a bit uncomfortable. The noise from the bar below was noticeable, especially on the weekend. But overall, the charm of the place and the friendly service made up for the minor inconveniences.
